Your Chamber website is the catalyst for
commerce for Kyle area businesses. Each member receives
a webpage on the Chamber's website. You can include your
images/logos, business detail, and links to your own website.
This is a valuable service that includes a full description,
keyword search capability that provides you with online
prescense and can help your own company website's ranking.
Business Resources
Free one-on-one, personalized business planning
sessions take place monthly with trained business counselors
from the Texas
State University Small Business Development Center for
existing and start-up businesses. This service provides
guidance and options on marketing, finance, international
trade, or any aspect of establishing and updating a business
plan. To schedule your free appointment, please contact
our Chamber office.
Networking Opportunities
Monthly membership functions provide forums
for making business contacts. These include membership luncheons
(new members are introduced), business after-hours the Ambassador's
B.A.S.H. (Ambassador's BASH stands for Business Advancement
Social Hour. They are free to the business community and
a great way to make new contacts in the area), and other
events.
Referrals from the Chamber
Members' names and phone numbers are distributed each year
to thousands of people inquiring about goods, services,
shopping, and visiting opportunities via our annually published
Kyle Guide and Membership Directory,
mail-outs, phone calls and walk-ins to the Visitor's Center.
Ribbon Cuttings
Upon request, members receive a ribbon cutting hosted by
Chamber Ambassadors, and publicized by local media. Ribbon
cuttings are available to new members, businesses that expand,
relocate, or come under new ownership.
Workshops and Seminars
The Business Development Committee of the Kyle Chamber hosts
programs on business topics requested by members. Subjects
include customer service, business plans, networking, financing,
human resources, and e-commerce, to name a few.
Business Expo
Members may participate in the highly successful North Hays
County Business Expo held at the Hays CISD Performing Arts
Center in Kyle in October, where firms target other businesses
and consumers to market their products and services.
Brochures Displayed
Members may display flyers or brochures in the Visitor's
Center and at a number of official functions hosted by the
Chamber including luncheons & networking events.
Membership Directory
All members are listed in the Chamber's Membership Directory,
used as an informational piece of the area, and a guide
of recommended businesses to newcomers, residents, and local
and out-of-town businesses.
Banner Advertising
Over the past few years, most of us have heard about all
the money being made on the Internet. This new medium of
education and entertainment has revolutionized the economy
and brought many people and many companies a great deal
of success. Websites make money, but one of the main sources
of revenue is advertising. One of the most popular forms
of Internet advertising is the banner ad.
Remember Members First Discount Program
Members are encouraged to provide a discount or incentive
that is available to fellow Chamber members only. As a member,
you are able to receive these special discounts offered
by your fellow members. Interested in signing up?
Economic and Demographic Information
The Chamber serves as a reference point for members when
they seek the latest statistical and demographic information
for business planning purposes.
E-Newsletter
All chamber members gain access to the latest information
from the Chamber and the Community through a weekly email
newsletter, the Chamber Chatter. Even if you didn't catch
the email version, the last four weeks are posted on the
website as a reference point. Advertising in the Chamber
Chatter is open and limited to Chamber members only.
Membership Labels
Reduced rates are offered for the Chamber member list printed
on labels or members can choose to have membership information
emailed as an excel spreadsheet for no additional costs.

As a Kyle Chamber member, you have access to discounts offered
by Texas Travel Industry Association (ttia.org).
You also have the opportunity to selectively promote your
business with a variety of vendor request for proposals.
