ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compile information for weekly, monthly and quarterly reports required by municipal contracts.
Respond to customer calls to resolve issues.
Provide information and respond to requests from staff and customers.
Communicate account information to sales representatives.
Enter work orders and requests in the appropriate database(s).
Compile and submit information on governmental bids.
Monitor city council agendas for items that affect TDS and monitor requests for proposal (RFPs) and bid request sites.
Coordinate meeting arrangements for sales representatives with contract representatives and officials and for meetings with internal staff, customers and potential customers.
Review contracts and proposals to ensure accurate information.
Update customer database information.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products – i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook – as well as with customer relationship management (CRM) software and databases;
Ability and willingness to travel on short business trips;
Must demonstrate ability to discreetly work with confidential information;
Must exhibit a professional phone and personal presence;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Must have excellent listening skills;
Must be detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic and be willing to adapt to change; and
Must demonstrate solid organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
