DESCRIPTION:The City of Kyle is hosting an open house at the Kyle City Hall on February 27 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm to review the draft Strategic Plan for the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) that was established in December 2018 for the Uptown area of Plum Creek. Uptown Kyle is an exciting new development that will consist of shops\, restaurants\, office space\, recreational areas\, and much more.\n\n \n\nThe TIRZ board is holding this open house to educate the public about Uptown Kyle and how the TIRZ works. A TIRZ sets aside a portion of the increased property tax increment resulting from development within the district to reinvest towards public benefits within the district.  The purpose of the Strategic Plan is to identify and prioritize investments like public parkland\, streets\, or facilities that will benefit the area.\n\n \n\nA TIRZ Board meeting will be held following the open house at 7:00PM and is open to the public.  If you are unable to attend the meeting in person\, all information will be posted on the City's website following the open house.
