Hays County Back to School Health Fair

A message from the Hays County Health Department: 

The Hays County Health Department is excited to announce our annual Back to School Health Fair,
scheduled for August 1, 2026. This free community event is designed to support Hays County students and
families as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

The event will provide access to health education, community resources, and school readiness support.
Families will have the opportunity to connect with local organizations, receive important health information,
and access resources that promote student success and well-being.

To help make this event a success, we are seeking community partners willing to provide school supplies,
backpacks, financial sponsorships, or other in-kind donations. These contributions will directly benefit local
children and families and help reduce barriers to educational success.
Current school supply needs include:

Spiral Notebooks ($1,049)
Markers ($1,300)
Crayons ($450)
Colored Pencils ($730)
Erasers ($370)
Glue Sticks ($450)
Folders ($1,439)
Pencils ($750)

Sponsors may choose to support a specific item category, make a monetary contribution, or purchase
supplies directly through our Amazon Wish List.

We anticipate serving hundreds of Hays County residents and are committed to ensuring that every child has access to the supplies and resources needed to begin the school year prepared and confident.
As a valued community partner, your organization will be recognized during the event and through event
promotional materials, as applicable.
