Kyle Pie in the Sky
Join us Labor Day Weekend for the premier hot air balloon festival, right here in Kyle, the Pie Capital of Texas! Beautiful hot air balloons will illuminate the sky on Friday and Saturday evenings and will float over the Kyle sky Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Pie festivities will include a Pie Cafe tent, pie baking contest, pie eating contests, pie vendors (sweet and savory), and more, all of which will solidify our claim to fame as the Pie Capital of Texas. You’ll also be able to enjoy a great live music line-up, an alcohol booth, market vendors of all kinds, a kids play area, and other entertainment to make this festival weekend complete.

Friday – 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Saturday – 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (Note – festival is closed between noon and 5 p.m. Saturday)
Sunday – 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
NOTE: From Friday, Aug. 30-Sunday, Sept. 1, Masonwood Dr. from Fairfield to Lehman Rd. will be closed to all traffic with the exception of residents of that portion of the street. West of Fairfield Dr., parking will only be allowed on the north side of Masonwood Dr. Lehman Rd. will be closed from Hiver to Hailee, with the exception of desginated festival personnel and emergency responders.
Location
The Pie in the Sky Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place at Lake Kyle in Kyle, Texas. There is no parking located at the festival grounds but free parking and shuttles will be provided. Free parking and shuttle buses will run continuously throughout the festival from the following locations: The old HCISD Bus Barn – 21003 I-35 NB *ADA shuttles are available and each site has handicapped parking.
