Texas Vietnam War Memorial
The Hays County Courthouse at 111 E. San Antonio Street in San Marcos will display a replica of the proposed Texas Vietnam War Memorial through the end of May.The replica, located in the rotunda of the historic courthouse, is on tour to encourage donations to fund its construction on the grounds of the Texas capitol. The Hays County Courthouse is its first stop on the tour. “The monument reflects the racial and ethnic diversity of those who served, those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those still missing today,” said Jude Prather, the county’s veterans service officer.
