The ambassadors are a special group of volunteers organized for the purpose of promoting membership in the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce.
As Goodwill Representatives of the Chamber, the Ambassadors are the first link to the Chamber members and to the community. Ambassadors will be called upon by the Chamber to assist in ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings and other special activities.
Volunteering as an Ambassador is a rewarding experience. You will meet many people, make new friends and business contacts, and gain recognition for yourself and your business. The Chamber obviously gains through increased finances and new ideas, and the community gains from the programs made possible by a stronger Chamber of Commerce.
To qualify to be an Ambassador you must be a member of the Kyle Chamber of Commerce or be employed by a member of the Chamber of Commerce for at least six months (may be waived by special request) and have approval of your Employer / Supervisor. A person desiring membership to the Ambassador Committee must fill out an application, which will be reviewed in the order of which the Ambassador Chair receives their signed applications. The ambassador committee is limited to a maximum of 10% of the Chamber membership. A maximum of two Ambassadors will be authorized from any one business that is a member of the Kyle Chamber of Commerce, with the understanding that an Ambassador who changes places of employment may transfer to another business of which other Ambassadors are employed and retain their membership in the Ambassador Committee.
