Reading at the Katherine Anne Porter House
Elizabeth Crook is the author of four novels: The Raven’s Bride, Promised Lands, The Night Journal, and Monday, Monday. She has written for Texas Monthly and served on the council of the Texas Institute of Letters. The Raven’s Bride was the 2006 Texas Reads: One Book One Texas selection. The Night Journal won the 2007 Spur award for Best Long Novel of the West and the 2007 Willa Literary Award for Historical Fiction.
Ms. Crook will be reading from her new novel, Monday, Monday at the Katherine Anne Porter Literary Center on Friday, May 1st at 7:30 pm (508 W. Center Street at the seminar Building in the backyard).This event is open to the public and is free of charge. In addition, we will be distributing 40 of her new novels free of charge. The author will be available after the reading to sign her book. If you have other books by the author, please feel free to bring those as well.Hope to see you there.
