ACC Adjunct Faculty Association's 2nd Annual Disc Golf Fundraiser

The event will be held on March 23rd at Circle C Park in Austin, and we are looking for local businesses to donate prizes such as gift cards to restaurants, shops, yoga classes, etc.  The AFA will match all business contributions and all proceeds will go to scholarships.  Local support is critical and the better the prizes, the more interest we can generate among students. Also, the sooner we can get commitments, the fast we can get contributor info up on the Website/flyers and prepare for some exposure for the business at the event. 

Last year was our first attempt at this and it went better than anticipated.  Our goal this year is to double both the number of participants in the tournament and the amount of contributions from the local business community.  Each team/participant in the tournament will pay a $10-15 entry fee depending on when/how they choice to register.  Last year were were able to provide the top 3 teams (12 participants) with prizes.  Since there are 4 participants per team, contributions like 4 $25 gift cards, 4 free chicken sandwich coupons, 4 coupons for 25% off massage, or any of the like would be ideal.  This way teammates all get the same prize, but we will gratefully accept any contribution.
