Originally from Dover, Delaware Tarence has been in Texas since 1995, after leaving the Navy, and enrolling at Texas State University for his BA in History, before gaining his Masters in Industrial Organization from Walden University

He is a Gulf War veteran who was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and the proud father of two, a son Khiry(29) who lives in Florida, and a daughter, Kiana(22) who is currently attending Prairie View A&M University.

When he is not making connections in the community, he enjoys all things fitness; especially running, yoga and exploring the outdoors. While you won't catch him at a midnight premier he is a Marvel fan

He lives his life following a quote from Marcus Garvey, "If you don't have confidence in self, you are twice defeated in the race of life."
