Return with us now to yesteryear and the amazing and delightful Aquarena Springs in San Marcos. Before the Magic Kingdom, before flat-screens, before multiplex theaters, this was where Texans of all ages came to be entertained - and boy, did they ever come. Millions of them through the 1960s up to the 1990s. This documentary tells the amazing story of one of America's most famous vintage roadside attractions. Aquarena Springs was a state and national phenomenon throughout the second half of the 20th century.  Please join us as the San Marcos Heritage Association is sponsoring free popcorn and there will be a cash bar. DVD's of the documentary will be on sale with 50% of the proceeds benefiting the San Marcos Heritage Association as well as 100% of all ticket sales.
