Life After Loss Adult Support Group

?CTMC Family Grief Center will offer a Life After Loss Adult
Support Group at 1313 IH-35 North, San Marcos, Texas.
The support group will meet for six weeks beginning on
Monday, October 8, 2012. The group session will begin
at 6:00 PM for an hour and half. There is no cost to the
participant. To register for a group, please contact Abel

October is upon us and soon we will be preparing for the
holidays. But for those who have suffered a recent loss,
or a loss in general, grief will overcome them at one point
and make the holidays not so jolly.

If you or someone you know has suffered a loss, we wish
to invite you to participate in our “Dinner and Grief: Life
After Loss” program. This program is designed by the
American Cancer Society to help bereaved people better
understand the process of grief and how to live through
it in a healing way. It also provides a place for people to
share their experiences and to support each other in their
grief. On behalf of the CTMC Family Grief Center, dinner
is offered as part of the process to recognize the empty
chair.

Life After Loss is designed to give the person an
opportunity to understand the process of grief, assess
where they are, and to learn how to cope with their grief
afterwards. Life After Loss helps to plan for how you will
continue to heal and live your life.
