United Way Day of Action
Volunteers needed across Hays County!United Way Day of Action is a national one-day event during which hundreds of United Ways across the nation make a huge impact through local activities. Thousands of volunteers participate each year in their own communities to raise awareness for United Way programs.United Way of Hays County Day of Action is focused on emphasizing the importance of early childhood education and reading. YOU can play a big role in helping ensure that even our youngest residents develop a lifelong love of learning.Volunteer.The morning of Day of Action UWHC volunteers will read at local childcare centers and donate books for use at the centers to emphasize the importance of early reading for children in Hays County.
