About Us
Hays County Food Bank was founded in 1984 to serve hungry people in San Marcos and has since grown to serve over 142,000 individuals throughout the Hays County area in 2015. By partnering with local farms, gardens, and grocery, HCFB provides fresh produce to the food insecure. Each week, six public food distributions throughout the county are held and nutrition classes are organized.
