Q: When is the event?

A: Our Sporting Clay Classic will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 with a start time of 9 AM.  

Q: What is the entry fee for the event?

A: Entry is $700/squad (4 shooters), or $175/person.

    *Not a shooter?  We are seeking volunteers to help with the event.  Please contact Amy Cutter @ marketing@kylechamber.org / 512-268-4220.

 Q: What does my entry fee include?

A: Your entry fee includes beverages, snacks, lunch, & shotgun shells.  You will need to bring your own guns!

 Q: How will the funds raised at the event be used?

A: Proceeds from this event will support the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce continue to provide valuable services & representation to the local business community.

 Q: How do I participate?

A:   There are several ways you can participate!

• Register a squad
• Register as an individual shooter
• Sponsor the event
• Volunteer at the event

 Q: Will prizes be awarded?

A: Yes! Scoring will be based on the Lewis Class system.  The first squad in each of three flights will receive a prize.  

 Q: Do I need to provide my own guns & ammunition?

A: Guns, yes. Ammunition, no.  Participants are responsible for bringing their own guns, but ammunition & targets are provided.  Please bring eye & ear protection for the course.  Eye & ear protection will be available if needed.

 Q: What type of guns are recommended?

A: Only 12 & 20 gauge shotguns are permitted.  410 & 28 shotguns are permitted but participants must provide their own ammunition.

Q: How do squads travel the course?

A: Squads will be able to walk between stations on the course.  You may bring your own cart if you wish.

 Q: Do I need to be an experienced clay shooter?

A: Absolutely not! Shooters of all levels are welcome at this event!

Q: Will guidance be on the course to help novice shooters?

A: Safety Training will be provided at the beginning of the tournament.

Q: Can I have less than four people on my squad?

A: All squads will have 4 people, but if you don't have a full squad, we will combine your partial with another partial or individual to create a full squad.

Q: Will I be placed on a squad if I purchase an individual ticket?

A: Yes, you will be matched to fill a squad of four.

Q: Will beverages be provided on the course?

A: Water and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided to take on the course and will be available at various stations.  Alcohol may not be consumed prior to shooting.  The bar will open once all shooting has completed.
