SENATOR CAMPBELL TO ADDRESS RETIRED EDUCATORS

(San Marcos, TX) –The San Marcos Association of Retired Teachers (SMART) - Hays County will hold its first meeting for 2013-14 on Thursday, September 12, 2013.  Senator Donna Campbell, M.D. will be the guest speaker.  The meeting is at 2:30 PM at the Dunbar Community Center in San Marcos.  Visit the SMART – Hays County web page at http://localunits.org/SMART/ for more information.

The San Marcos Association of Retired Teachers (SMART) – Hays County is a local chapter of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA).  All retired public school personnel from Hays and surrounding counties are invited.  Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month from September – May in various locations.  

TRTA is the nation’s largest organization of retired public school employees.
