    Essential Job Duties
    1. Responsible for packing all finished flavor batches into their respective proper packaging.
    2. Administer application of blending practices in all areas of the liquid production rooms.
    3. Apply the skills necessary to weigh, mix, blend, filter/screen and sanitize all processing equipment in the production areas.
    4. Responsible for the application of Good Manufacturing Practices for the handling and processing of materials by production personnel.
    5. Responsible for self and others for the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
    6. Responsible for the Critical Control Point CCP-1P (Screen: Foreign Material Check) checks on each batch of finished goods.
    7. Responsible for the recording of data of all sanitation logs.
    8. Responsible for the recording of data on the Production Line Quality Control Record.
    9. Responsible for the sanitation of the production Room and the overall manufacturing facility
    10. Responsible for the weekly testing of sanitation solution concentrations.
    11. Responsible for the weekly monitoring of facility compliance on the Master Schedule.
    12. Responsible for the practice of safe conduct in all production areas.
    13. Responsible for the safe operation of powered equipment in all production areas.
    14. Responsible for the enforcement of the highest levels of Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of the production facility.
    15. Responsible for the discipline of Good Sanitation Practices for the cleaning and maintaining of all production area floors, walls, tanks, blenders, scales, racks, containers, hoses and all equipment related to or involved in the processes of flavor production.
    16. Responsible for the sanitation area regarding all stored raw materials.
    17. Responsible for the proper labeling and sanitation of bottled flavor bases stored and used in the production processes.
    18. Assist Quality Assurance personnel in the troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, and disposal of deficient final products and/or raw materials.
    19. Assist Quality Assurance personnel in the Mock Recall exercises.
    20. In the absence of Shipping personnel, Document the approval of Finished Goods for Final Release to shipping.

    Working Conditions
    This position operated in a warehouse environment. Employees may be exposed to loud or distracting sounds, uncomfortable cold and heat, high traffic areas, and closed and cramped spaces. Appropriate PPE is required at all times.

    Physical Requirements
    • Read: Able to read and understand a variety of documents and printed materials
    • Repetitive Motion: Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls.
    • Physical: Frequent standing for extended periods of time
    • Physical: Frequent bending at the waist and knees, reaching above the shoulders to retrieve or store materials, pushing/pulling and lifting up to 80lbs. regularly
    • Physical: Walk back and forth repeatedly and move safely over uneven or in confined spaces
    • Hearing: Ability to respond quickly to sounds
    • Visual: Ability to see and respond to hazards or dangerous situations

    Required Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Basic knowledge of sanitation practices in a warehouse environment
    • Experiencing handling and processing raw materials
    • Basic safety knowledge
    • 2-years Compounding or chemical compounding experience
    • Experience in the production of emulsions, extracts, liquid compounds, dry flavor blends and related processing techniques
    • Knowledge of processing techniques and related equipment for homogenization, filtration, filling, labeling, packaging, weighing.
    • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to calculate formulations and make metric/U.S. measure conversions

    Preferred Education and Experience
    • 3-years warehouse experience
    • Experience in Flavor industry is a plus
    • Forklift Certification
