Essential Job Duties- Responsible for packing all finished flavor batches into their respective proper packaging.
- Responsible for the application of Good Manufacturing Practices for the handling and processing of materials by production personnel.
- Responsible for self and others for the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Responsible for the Critical Control Point CCP-I P (Screen: Foreign Material Check) checks on each batch of finished goods.
- Responsible for the recording of data of all sanitation logs.
- Responsible for the sanitation of the Production Room and the overall manufacturing facility
- Responsible for the weekly monitoring of facility compliance on the Master Schedule.
- Responsible for the practice of safe conduct in all production areas.
- Responsible for the safe operation of IN)wered equipment in all production areas.
- Responsible for the enforcement of the highest levels of Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of the production facility.
- Responsible for the discipline of Sanitation Practices for the cleaning and maintaining of all production area floors, walls, tanks, blenders, scales, racks, containers, hoses and all equipment related to or involved in the processes of flavor production.
- Responsible for the sanitation area regarding all stored raw materials.
Working Conditions
This position is operated in a warehouse environment. Employees may be exposed to loud or distracting sounds, uncomfortable cold and heat, high traffic areas, and closed and cramped spaces. Appropriate PPE is always required.
Physical Requirements- Read: Able to read and understand a variety of and printed materials
- Repetitive Motion: Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects, or controls.
- Physical: Frequent sitting for extended periods of time
- Physical: Frequent bending at the waist and knees, reaching above the shoulders to retrieve or store materials, pushing/pulling and lifting to SOIbs. regularly
- Physical: Walk back and forth repeatedly and move safely over uneven or in confined spaces
- Hearing: Ability to respond quickly to sounds
- Visual: Ability to see and respond to hazards or dangerous situations
Required Education and Experience- High Diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of sanitation practices in a warehouse environment
- Experiencing handling and processing raw materials
- Basic safety knowledge
- 2-years warehouse experience
Preferred Education and Experience- 3-years warehouse experience
- Experience in Flavor industry a plus
- Forklift Certification
- Compounding experience a plus
